Restored smiles and natural good looks

Giving you back self-confidence in your smile

Even the strongest teeth can become damaged. This can be upsetting and cause a loss of self-confidence. At ASR Dental we have available the best in cosmetic and restorative treatments, and our expert team will be happy to recommend the best approach for your smile.

By recommending the right course of treatment, our dentists will restore your teeth to a high level of strength whilst keeping a natural look and appearance. Allowing you to carry on eating, chatting and smiling with renewed confidence.

Cosmetic Bonding

Composite bonding provides a quick and natural-looking solution where teeth are damaged or decayed, or require certain types of aesthetic improvement. During the cosmetic bonding process, your ASR Dental practitioner will apply a resin that has been coloured to match the shade of your natural teeth. This resin will then be hardened using a special light.

Cosmetic bonding can usually be completed in a single visit to one of our Yorkshire dental clinics. This modern and effective treatment offers you a natural and healthy-looking smile with the minimum of intervention to your teeth.

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns are carefully created caps that fit over an existing tooth or a dental implant. They offer a strong and aesthetically pleasing solution where teeth are weakened or damaged. They can also greatly improve the appearance of teeth that have been extensively restored.

Dental crowns can also be placed to strengthen a tooth that is required to support a bridge. Each crown is made individually from dental impressions, and fitted to an existing tooth that has been delicately prepared by your ASR Dental dentist. Crowns can greatly improve both the strength and appearance of your teeth.

Inlays & Onlays

Dental inlays and onlays are sometimes known as partial crowns. This is because they fit neatly onto a tooth, providing a covering in areas that have suffered from a certain degree of decay. Delivering a solution that is part way between a traditional filling and a crown, each bespoke inlay or onlay is created from an accurate dental impression so that it fits precisely onto the affected tooth.

Dental inlays are placed onto the biting surface of your tooth, between its cusps. Dental onlays are often larger and are applied to the outer surface that can also cover the cusps (points) of your tooth. Both inlays and onlays help to strengthen teeth and enhance your smile.

Root Canal Treatment

If you are experiencing the discomfort of severe toothache, it may be due to infection in the nerves and blood supply to your tooth. Root canal therapy or endodontics involves a skilful and meticulous treatment procedure to remove this infection whilst also preparing the area to receive a filling.

Sometimes a temporary filling might be placed in order to allow your dentist to check that the infection has cleared up. If the top part of the affected tooth is too badly fractured or decayed, it may require a dental crown for better future protection.

Root canal treatment is very effective, and you don’t need to worry about it being painful. Your dentist will apply a local anaesthetic and explain each step of your treatment as it progresses.
